Recap: Fairfield Indians vs. Hamilton Big Blue
The Fairfield Indians won the last time they faced the Hamilton Big Blue, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Fairfield enjoyed a cozy 55-40 victory over Hamilton. Given Fairfield's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Hamilton is ranked 565th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Myka Richardson, who scored 15 points along with six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Kayla McCoy was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Fairfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Hamilton, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
