Basketball Recap: Lake Shore Takes a Loss

If Lake Shore was feeling good fresh off their 55-17 takedown of Mott last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lake Shore Shorians lost to the Marine City Mariners on the road by a 37-22 margin on Friday. The Shorians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mariners earlier this season, when they won 28-21.

Lake Shore dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Marine City, their record is now 8-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Shore will venture away from home to square off against Mott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marine City, they will head out to take on Port Huron Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
