Volleyball Recap: Stephenson Eagles vs. Wright Red Devils
Stephenson was the 1-0 winner over Wright when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Stephenson Eagles fell just short of the Wright Red Devils by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Stephenson sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 26-24.
Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wright, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.
Stephenson is on the road again on Saturday to play Ishpeming at 5:00 p.m. The last nine games Stephenson has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Wright does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
