Basketball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 45-27 fall against the Wilcox Central Jaguars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-17 two weeks ago.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Wilcox Central, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Southside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-16 defeat against Hatch on the 27th. Wilcox Central has also already played their next game (against Jackson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
