Volleyball Recap: Eagle Heights Christian Wins Going Away Against Kansas School for the Deaf

Eagle Heights Christian's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Eagles were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Jackrabbits, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 26-24, 27-25.

The victory got Eagle Heights Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Heights Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Training Center Christian at 5:30 p.m. on October 7. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, they will be playing at home against Iowa School for the Deaf at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
