Baseball Recap: John Jay Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins at Home

John Jay dropped their record down to 17-3 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell 6-1 to the Arlington Admirals. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

John Jay saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shane Driscoll, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

As for Arlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games.

On Arlington's side, Logan Sajdak tossed a big game, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.

At the plate, DJ Mulvany was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim McCormack, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As of now, neither John Jay nor Arlington have any future games scheduled.
