Recap: Brackett Tigers vs. Utopia Buffaloes
The Brackett Tigers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-31 victory over Utopia. The score was all tied up 15-15 at the break, but Brackett was the better team in the second half.
Utopia's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Taylor Wiekamp, who scored 7 points along with 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Charlie Leman, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds.
Brackett's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Utopia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Knippa the next time they take the court. Utopia will head out to face Knippa at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Brackett will host them at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
