Basketball Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short

Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost to the Clovis North Broncos on the road by a 65-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Broncos are ranked 16th).

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Clovis North, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-5.

Clovis will challenge Clovis East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clovis North, they will square off against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
