North Crawford strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-0 victory over the Monticello Ponies. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Trojans had established a 48-point advantage.

North Crawford's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Gavin Tamling was especially locked on to Monticello's QB and sacked him twice.

North Crawford's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Monticello, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Crawford is set to face off against their familiar foe Belmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Trojans 5.6, the Braves 8.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Monticello will square off against rival De Soto at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
