Basketball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Bluffton was the 49-37 winner over Elida when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluffton Pirates fell to the Elida Bulldogs 47-41. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Elida, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bluffton will challenge Lima Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bluffton is facing Lima Central Catholic at the right time seeing as Lima Central Catholic is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Elida, they will square off against Bath at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
