Clear Creek-Amana entered their tilt with Newton on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Clippers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Clear Creek-Amana's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-12. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Newton, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-24.

Coming up, Clear Creek-Amana will host Xavier on Monday. The Saints will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Clippers surely won't give up without a fight. Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
