Basketball Recap: Carson Everhart Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Union Grove Christian + How To Watch

North Davidson won the last time they faced Union Grove Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Black Knights managed a 76-72 victory over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Black Knights.

North Davidson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Everhart out in front who shot 58% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. Those seven assists gave Everhart a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grayson Rush, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Calvin Miller, who went 12-for-21 on his way to 39 points. Miller continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ben Johnson was another key player, putting up seven points along with ten rebounds and seven assists.

North Davidson has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Union Grove Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

North Davidson has already played their next game, a 77-56 defeat against Ledford on the 2nd. As for Union Grove Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 41-40 victory against Alamance Christian on the 2nd.
