Basketball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Everett suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2025 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Stanwood Spartans, falling 58-35. While losing is never fun, the Seagulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Spartans are ranked 40th).

This is the second loss in a row for Everett and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for Stanwood, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Everett will challenge rival Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stanwood is set to take on their familiar foe Marysville Getchell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
