If Lac Courte Oreilles wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bayfield, they should've done a better job of containing Quintin Bresette. The Bayfield Trollers blew past the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles, posting a 94-25 win thanks in part to Bresette, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine assists. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Maxwell Gordon, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Bayfield and bumps their season record up to 13-5. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 35.5% in those games and 25.1% outside of them. As for Lac Courte Oreilles, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
