Basketball Recap: Tri-City Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from James Henry and Jaziel Burgess

If Tri-City Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 56-20 takedown of El Dorado last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Ridgeview College Prep Lions by a score of 47-44 on Tuesday.

Jaziel Burgess and James Henry certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Burgess went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points and seven boards, while Henry posted 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trisdan Moreland, who scored seven points and eight rebounds.

Tri-City Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-City Christian Academy will take on Alta Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeview College Prep, they will challenge BASIS - Ahwatukee at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
