Softball Recap: Indian Land Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Indian Land's offense. They came up short against the Catawba Ridge Copperheads on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Copperheads recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Indian Land's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Catawba Ridge, they pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Indian Land is set to challenge their familiar foe Clover at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Catawba Ridge will take on rival Nation Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Copperheads 0.9, the Falcons 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
