Pinkerton strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Alvirne Broncos 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Astros, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brendan Home, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Pinkerton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive contests.

Pinkerton pushed their record up to 18-0 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Alvirne, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
