McHenry is on a three-game streak of home losses, Hampshire a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The two teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

McHenry is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Cary-Grove on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. McHenry was dealt a 48-18 defeat at the hands of Cary-Grove.
