Basketball Recap: Pitman Takes a Loss

Pitman lost to Enochs back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pride were dealt a 66-36 loss at the hands of the Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Pride can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 812th, while the Eagles are ranked 160th).

Pitman has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Enochs, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Coincidentally, Pitman and Enochs will both be playing Downey the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Pride will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
