Rad Rodriguez and Caden Seems secure win for Phillipsburg

Recap: Phillipsburg Panthers vs. Trego Golden Eagles
The Phillipsburg Panthers won the last time they faced the Trego Golden Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Phillipsburg walked away with a 47-37 win over Trego.
Phillipsburg was led to victory by Rad Rodriguez and Caden Seems. Rodriguez scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks, while Seems scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Rodriguez posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Rhett Shelton, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Phillipsburg's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Trego, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillipsburg's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hoisington at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Trego will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas More Prep-Marian at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
