Hempstead not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Jefferson Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

Hempstead's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

After both having extra time off, Hempstead and Waterloo West will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will face off against Iowa City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
