The Lunenburg Central Chargers will venture away from home to square off against the Nottoway Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lunenburg Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Things were looking good for Lunenburg Central after they put the first goal on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Randolph-Henry by a score of 2-1. Lunenburg Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Nottoway sidestepped Buckingham for a 2-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Nottoway.

Lunenburg Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Nottoway, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Lunenburg Central took their win against Nottoway in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
