Baseball Recap: Glide Wildcats vs. Coquille Red Devils
Glide entered their tilt with Coquille with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Coquille Red Devils on Tuesday and snuck past 4-3. That's more bragging rights for Glide, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Jayden Williams was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Glide's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9. As for Coquille, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Glide will be playing at home against Brookings-Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coquille, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against North Valley at 3:00 p.m.
