Baseball Recap: Red Level Comes Up Short

Red Level was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Brantley Bulldogs, falling 17-6. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Buddy Griffin was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Red Level's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Brantley, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

While Red Level had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
