Inola took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Wagoner, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Longhorns sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-13 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday. That's two games straight that the Longhorns have won by just one run.

Inola has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Wagoner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.

Inola didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-8 win against Muskogee on the 11th. As for Wagoner, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-9 victory against Perry on the 11th.
