Football Game Preview: Altoona Mountain Lions vs. Chambersburg Trojans + How To Watch

The Altoona Mountain Lions will square off against the Chambersburg Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Altoona nor Chambersburg posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Altoona is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Harrisburg on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Mountain Lions were outmatched by the Cougars and fell 45-7. The Mountain Lions have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Chambersburg came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Carlisle get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Friday.

Chambersburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Altoona, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Altoona beat Chambersburg 21-14 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Mountain Lions repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
