Baseball Recap: Serra Gets the Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Serra ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Culver City Centaurs 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cavaliers have posted since April 16, 2025.

ETHAN VARELA was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of TERENCE SULLIVAN, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Serra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Serra's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Culver City, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-10-1.

Serra has already played their next game, a 14-4 defeat against Torrance on the 8th. As for Culver City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-2 loss against Royal on the 4th.
