Basketball Recap: North Knox Skates Past West Vigo with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, North Knox rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed by the West Vigo Vikings to the tune of 53-15. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 24 points or more this season.

North Knox's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexi Primus, who posted ten points along with five boards and five steals. Brynna Collins was another key player, going 6 for 15 to rack up 14 points and seven steals.

North Knox smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

North Knox has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for West Vigo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

North Knox didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-52 defeat against South Knox on the 8th. West Vigo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
