Basketball Game Preview: East Chapel Hill Wildcats vs. Broughton Capitals

The East Chapel Hill Wildcats will challenge the Broughton Capitals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Chapel Hill has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 210 points over their last three matches.

East Chapel Hill's tournament run continued when they took on Western Alamance on Monday. East Chapel Hill secured a 66-62 W over Western Alamance.

Meanwhile, Broughton came up short against Caldwell Academy on Monday and fell 63-54. While losing is never fun, the Capitals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Eagles are ranked 20th).

Despite the loss, Broughton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jordan Page posted 20 points and five rebounds. The contest was Page's 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Christian Outlaw, who put up six points and nine rebounds.

Broughton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for East Chapel Hill, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
