The Willow Spring Storm scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Corinth Holders by a score of 68-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Willow Spring was led to victory by Grant Overman and Brandon Solomon. Overman dropped a triple-double on ten points, 17 rebounds, and ten blocks, while Solomon dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Overman is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Xavion Terrell, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Willow Spring's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Corinth Holders, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-13.

Willow Spring will be playing in front of their home fans against Fuquay - Varina at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Fuquay - Varina is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Corinth Holders on the road again on Friday and play against Clayton at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th.
