Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Forward Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Elizabeth Forward won the last time they faced West Mifflin and things went their way on Friday too. The Elizabeth Forward Warriors managed a 58-54 win over the West Mifflin Titans. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Titans are ranked 510th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Elizabeth Forward is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for West Mifflin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
