Volleyball Recap: Astronaut Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Astronaut and Lake Highland Prep squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Astronaut had to settle for second. They came up short against the Highlanders, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the War Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Peyton Redfern paced Astronaut's offense, picking up six kills. Redfern got some help from Lesleigh Amos and her 12 assists.

Astronaut's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Lake Highland Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Astronaut will take on The Villages Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will square off against Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
