The high-scoring effort was just what the Dragons needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 5-13. As for McKean, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Highlanders beat Glasgow by a score of 1-0 later that day.
