Basketball Recap: Monument Mountain Skates Past Cohasset with Ease

Monument Mountain waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 76-41 victory over the Cohasset Skippers. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Monument Mountain pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points over those games. As for Cohasset, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5.

Coming up, Monument Mountain will take on Burke at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cohasset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
