Basketball Recap: Centennial Triumphs

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Centennial ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Frisco Raccoons, sneaking past 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since November 19th.

Centennial's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-11. As for Frisco, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on MacArthur at 12:30 p.m. on December 31st. Frisco will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Memorial at 5:45 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
