Soccer Game Preview: Greely vs. Yarmouth

The Greely Rangers will face off against the Yarmouth Clippers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Greely sitting on 11 straight victories and Yarmouth on five.

Greely is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Edward Little, who was ranked 19th at the time (Greely was ranked fourth). The Rangers never let the Red Eddies get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. Greely's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, Yarmouth got the win against Wells on Monday by a conclusive 7-1. Yarmouth might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by four goals or more this season.

Yarmouth's victory bumped their record up to 11-0-1. As for Greely, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
