Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against Gateway on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chargers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Gateway, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wekiva on the 28th. As for Gateway, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Jones on the 28th.
