Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Genoa-Kingston couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 4-0 to the Alleman Pioneers on Saturday. Genoa-Kingston's loss signaled the end of their 19-game winning streak.

Genoa-Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Alleman, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-2 record this season.
