Basketball Game Preview: Houghton Gremlins vs. Hancock Bulldogs

Houghton is 2-8 against Hancock since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Houghton Gremlins will be playing at home against the Hancock Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Houghton is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost to Westwood at home by a 66-51 margin.

Meanwhile, Hancock waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 51-40 victory over the Lakes.

Hancock's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for Houghton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
