Baseball Recap: Hapeville Charter Drops Season-High Score on Washington

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hapeville Charter). They put the hurt on the Washington Bulldogs with a sharp 19-5 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

B Neal looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hapeville Charter let D Weaver and J Moore run wild. Weaver scored four runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Moore scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Moore also put up a double, which was his first of the season. A George was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
