Basketball Recap: Mill River Comes Up Short

Mill River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-26 loss at the hands of the White River Valley Wildcats. The Minutemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Mill River's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for White River Valley, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Mill River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 39-29 defeat against Sharon Academy on the 17th. As for White River Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-31 win against Green Mountain on the 17th.
