Volleyball Preview: North Marion Colts vs. West Port Wolf Pack

North Marion hasn't had much luck against West Port recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The North Marion Colts will square off against the West Port Wolf Pack at 8:00 p.m.

North Marion is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Belleview.

North Marion started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, West Port didn't have done well against Vanguard recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. West Port came out on top against Vanguard by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolf Pack.

West Port kept the net locked down and finished the game with 11 blocks. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now had at least five blocks in three consecutive matches.

North Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for West Port, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
