Brighton Charter's win ends six-game losing streak at home

The Brighton Charter Tigers posted their closest victory yet this season on Monday. They skirted past Sonoran Science Academy 45-43. This was payback for Brighton Charter, who suffered a 45-44 loss the last time these two teams met.
Among those leading the charge was Jaziel Nunez, who scored 20 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Dylan Mastrapasqua was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Brighton Charter's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Sonoran Science Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Brighton Charter will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson Prep is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Sonoran Science Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Our Lady of the Sun Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
