Baseball Recap: Briarcliff Find Success

Briarcliff let Valhalla stack four runs on them in the fifth inning on Tuesday but luckily Briarcliff prevailed anyway. The Bears had just enough and edged out the Vikings 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Lucas Martinez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Briarcliff's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 3-4-1 when he doesn't).
