Falkner had a senior duo take command as Elijah Mauney dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds and Chris Nunley dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mauney has scored at least a third of Falkner's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Wooley, who posted three points along with eight boards and four steals.
Falkner was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Falkner's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points over those games. As for Strayhorn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Coming up, Falkner will challenge Biggersville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
