            Volleyball Recap: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. Rocklin Thunder        
        
		
        
        
            Davis Sr. had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Monday they dropped their record down to 7-17 to make it 11. They came up short against  the Rocklin Thunder, falling  3-0. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunder earlier this season, when they won  3-0.

 When it comes to explaining why Davis Sr. lost, don't look at  Ryan Buzbee. Despite the final result, he  had 16  digs. Buzbee has been hot recently, having  posted 12 or more  digs the last three times he's  played.  Nathan Bourne also deserves some recognition as  he  had his first  block of the season.
As for Rocklin, they moved to 10-15 with that  victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. They not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since February 26th (when they won  3-0).
 Rocklin can attribute much of their success to  Donovan Kuwazaki, who  had 12  digs and three  assists.  Eli Anderson was another key player,  getting 12  assists and five  digs.
 Davis Sr. didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss against Jesuit on the 23rd. As for Rocklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-1  defeat against Whitney on the 23rd.
