Mora came out on top against Milaca on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Mustangs walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Wolves. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 12-7 win the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Mora got a massive performance out of Jennae Szucs, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. With that strong performance, Szucs is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Graham, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Mora has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Milaca, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolves beat Mora by a score of 5-4 later that day.
