After a string of four wins, the McCormick Chiefs's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christ Church Episcopal. The result was an unpleasant reminder to McCormick of the 68-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2015.

When it comes to explaining why McCormick lost, one person who can't be blamed is Camden Durant. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Durant scored 15 or more points. Darius Houston was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
