Baseball Recap: Hialeah Sets Scoring Season-High Against Downtown Doral

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hialeah). They blew past the Downtown Doral Dolphins 18-5 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Thoroughbreds as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hialeah got a massive performance out of Christopher Reyes, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Perez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Hialeah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
