Volleyball Recap: Denver East Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Denver East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ponderosa Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Angels of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Denver East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ponderosa, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Denver East will square off against DSST: Conservatory Green at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th. As for Ponderosa, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dakota Ridge on the 30th.
